Adding a Virtual ILT Host Account

When you first integrate with any Virtual ILT (VILT) provider, before you can save the Site Information credentials in LearnCenter, you must have at least one Host Account set up. Likewise, before any Admins can begin setting up VILT Events for any given provider, they must add their own Host Account for that provider. You can add new Host accounts directly from LearnCenter. The information you enter here synchronizes with your VILT provider.

You can grant or deny Admins the ability to add Host Accounts by using the Add Host Accounts User Permission. See Virtual ILT User Permissions for instructions on granting or denying this permission.

On the ControlPanel:

  1. Click  on the Virtual ILT menu to expand it.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click the tab for the provider to which you want to add a Host Account. If you have not done so already, complete the procedures described in Enabling Virtual ILT and Integrating with VILT Providers.
  4. Scroll down if necessary to view the Your Host Account section.

  1. Click Add Host. The VILT Wizard opens.
  2. Type your Administrator Username and Administrator Password (available from your provider or Site Administrator within your organization).
  3. Click Next and follow the instructions in the Wizard. The fields that display vary based upon service provider.

If you are using Adobe® Connect™, you can click Select User on the first page of the Wizard. The Select Users window opens and you can locate and select the LearnCenter User you want to make a Host. The User’s Username, First Name, and Last Name are pre-populated in the appropriate fields.

  1. You or the User can add a password using the Password and Confirm Password fields.
  2. Select the appropriate Time Zone and click Next.
  3. (Optional) You can update the audio profiles if you are using the Adobe® Connect™ service by clicking Manage Audio Profiles the last page of the wizard.
  4. Click Save to confirm the creation of the new Host.
